One of the main tasks of the German Cultural Center is the promotion of the German language. Besides our language courses this is achieved through support for teachers of German as a Foreign Language (GFL).
The active promotion of the German language is done through student projects, information events, seminars and workshops. The German Cultural Center cooperates with all teachers and institutions that are involved in teaching German as a Foreign Language or German studies. One of the main cooperation partners in terms of language cooperation is the Association of Teachers for German in Taiwan.
Our cultural program department also offers many events like movie screenings or exhibitions that promote the German culture and language. These events can sometimes be offered specifically to one Taiwanese school or university.
The German Cultural Center offers training seminars for teachers of the German language. Furthermore, all teachers of the German language can use the resources offered in our teacher's library, which has a lot of materials that can be used for teaching German at its disposal.
